This digital exhibition by IDENTITY 2.0 invites users to explore digital identity constructed through unknown data collection

The IDENTITY 2.0 team takes exhibition visitors through a series of experiences highlighting how their data can be collected online and monetized, stored, or otherwise used by organizations like big tech companies.

“They are choosing your future. They don’t care if you are making memes at 3am, watching extremist videos, or sharing a guide to anti-vaccine. They just want to give you a future which makes them the most money.”

IDENTITY 2.0 do offer alternate options for the future, if society is willing to consider human rights, targeted education, user knowledge, and user control.

We made this space to explore digital identity. To expose the data we are made to give away, in exchange for access digital spaces. And to show that this isn’t the only way. There is still time to make a change
