Why the expansion of GovTech relies on the implementation of digital identity

The use of GovTech, where technical solutions are harnessed by public bodies, has accelerated because of the COVID pandemic. But government partnerships with the private sector are inherent in this rise - raising concern about the power these companies can wield.
